Here you stand on a bridge under which the Alte Oder flows, the navigable former Hohenzollern Canal. The little brother of the “real” Oder, so to speak. If you stand on the bridge for half an hour, there is a guarantee to see the kingfisher, say local nature lovers. So you can wait a while or just follow the three and a half kilometer long meadow path through the Oder floodplains to the "real" Oder - you will certainly see one or the other bird.
