Bathing stalls have a long tradition in Dagebüll. For more than 90 years, the colorful wooden houses - lined up like a string of pearls - have adorned the foot of the dike. Presumably as a replacement for the bath carts that were common at the time, the bathing stalls are used to store bathing utensils and personal items. They also act as weather protection in wind and rain. The bathing booths are set up at the beginning of the bathing season and returned to their winter home in mid-September. Most of the approximately 90 bathing stalls are privately owned. What is new is that three bathing booths can now also be rented. In this way, guests also have a chance of a box seat by the sea and can experience a real bathing hut feeling – as was previously only possible for the locals with their own bathing shack. In the period from May 2022 to mid-September 2022, the bathing stalls can again be rented for one to a maximum of three days. The bathing stalls are furnished with a table and four chairs. The costs are €20/day. Bookings can be made on site via the tourist information center in Dagebüll (Nordseestraße 1, Tel. 0 46 67/95 000).
