The Great Müllroser See is the largest lake, which is flown through by the thugs on their way from the source to the Oder-Spree-Kanal. On the north shore you can stroll along a beach promenade and admire the wide view. A nine-kilometer hiking trail leads around the lake and there are bathing beaches on both the east and west banks.

The Great Müllroser Lake impresses with its vastness and tranquility, which can be particularly enjoyed along the beach promenade on the north bank. The nine-kilometer circular path around the lake leads past varied landscapes, from open meadows to dense forests. The view over the still water, which almost looks like a mirror when there is no wind, is particularly beautiful.

During the hike, great views open up again and again, and at the beaches on the east and west banks you can take a break and dive into the clear water. The lake, through which the Schlaube flows, connects the Schlaube valley with the Oder-Spree canal and thus forms an important hub in the region.

The small details along the path are particularly charming, such as the water fountain that towers majestically over the lake and the old water wheel that reminds us of the long history of this region. On the so-called Love Island in the southern part of the lake, time seems to stand still - a place that is perfect for relaxing and forgetting the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
