The Schaezlerpalais, located directly at the Herkulesbrunnen in Maximilianstrasse, is Augsburg's most important and best preserved private residential and commercial building from the 18th century. This is not the only reason why this Rococo pearl is a must for every visitor to Augsburg. The bourgeois palace, completed in 1770, also houses numerous collections of paintings and sights, including the German Baroque Gallery, the Karl and Magdalene Haberstock Foundation, the Graphic Collection and the famous Rococo Festival Hall.
