The Old Walloon Hut (Stara Chata Valonska) is the seat of the Walloon Brotherhood. This association has been cultivating the heritage of the Walloons since the late 1990s. Settlers came to the Giant Mountains from what is now Belgium in the 12th century. They were experienced treasure hunters and mineral experts and prospected for gold, amethysts and rubies in the mountains.

The seat of the Walloons, medieval masters in the mining and processing of natural wealth, iron ore, metals, gems and quartz.
