Before the historic house was restored by community members and now serves as an exhibition and community center, the farmstead belonged to the Krull family from 1749 to 1982.
The bronze sculpture in front of the house shows a father saying goodbye to his relatives. This is a reminder of the times when people only went out to harvest. However, they often had to look for work in neighboring countries or even emigrate in order to make a living.

Where the 100-year-old homestead stands today, there has been a farmstead for at least 1,000 years that belonged to the Krull family between 1749 and 1982 - a good place to preserve the village's history. Many volunteers worked on the restoration of the historic building, which today serves the village community as a meeting place, an exhibition center and a festival site for local evenings.
