          Experience the fascinating world underground. The mine guides welcome you with a hearty “Glück Auf”. The path takes you through the over 600m long “Barbarastollen” deep into the interior of the Silberberg to a huge cave, the “Großer Barbaraverhau”. The atmospheric walk through the centuries-old tunnels brings the history of mining into your present.

          The Silberberg contains more than 60 different minerals inside. Depicting the hard work underground will make you feel like you've been transported back in time. An underground lake and the Silberberg Museum, which shows the mining history of Bodenmais since 1311, round off your visit. Further information at silberberg-online.de
