The Protestant village church of Börnicke is an early Gothic stone church that was built in the second half of the 13th century and redesigned several times over the centuries.

On the southwest side of the church tower there are gravestones for the banker Ernst von Mendelssohn Bartholdy and his wife Marie. Ernst von Mendelssohn Bartholdy was the nephew of the composer Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy. He lived from 1846 to 1909 and was one of the most important bankers in Berlin at the end of the 19th century.

The Protestant village church of Börnicke is an early Gothic fieldstone church in the Börnicke district of Bernau near Berlin in the Barnim district of Brandenburg. It belongs to the Bernau parish in the Barnim church district of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia and can be visited by appointment.
