    Aira Force is probably Lakeland's most famous waterfall. It is a spectacular sight, as it thunders down a ravine in one, great 65-foot (19.8 m) leap.

    A great way to visit to the falls is by taking the Ullswater Steamer from Glenridding to Aira Force Pier. Trails also follow the Aira Beck upstream, allowing you to add the Wainwright summit of Gowbarrow Fell to your day.

      Aria waterfall is on the main track from the NT car park, it can get very busy here so get there early if you want the waterfall to yourself.

            I passed through Aira Force whilst hiking a multi-day Wainwright bagging route but it was during a drought! Highly recommend visiting Aira Force after a spell of wet weather.

                  Aira Force is a stunning waterfall with a bridge over the top of it. Currently the best viewing place for it is closed off for path repairs from erosion which the National Trust are working on to repair

                    National Trust property, shortish walk up the waterfall. Plenty of car parking and a expensive tea room.

                      Waterfall short walk from a national Trust car park. Main viewing area is currently closed due to damage from the storm but there are still areas to get a great view.
