The Lyngvig Fyr lighthouse is an impressive sight. It can be seen from far away in the dunes with its brilliant white and red cap and it magically attracts us.

Just walking around it would be a very short affair, however, and we would actually end up walking in circles.

As we want to make the most of the beautiful weather on these cold May days, we take the almost dead-straight Holmsland Klit spit, between the Ringkøbing Fjord and the open North Sea, as an opportunity to supplement the circuit around the lighthouse with a kilometer-long “back and forth” on the beach and the dunes. This has resulted in a beautiful North Sea hiking circuit of almost 15 km, which can also be done very well on foot --> komoot.com/de-de/tour/1621116407
