In 1986 the Peace Mile was donated by the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team and set up by the City of Munich in the park around the Post Sport Club in Munich-Moosach.
The route is exactly one mile. 3 laps correspond to a 5000 meter distance. Here, among other things, the Munich 6-hour run of the Sri Chinmoy Marathon Team for individual starters (solo) and relay teams takes place every September.
If there is enough snow, the mile is also suitable as a cross-country ski trail. After the first lap has been groomed, the second lap is easier;)
