From Pontepietra on the road that goes towards L'Aquila di Giaveno, turn left towards Fusero / Borgata Tora. Climb all on asphalt. In Borgata Tora at the top of the climb there is a Amici della Tora farmhouse, for a stop. From there begins the descent towards Borgata Girella, and then Provonda. All downhill to Giaveno.
