Also this one, a super flow and quite wide trail in the Dreihufeisenberg located in the Lainzer Tiergarten area near Vienna. The first section is a bit steeper then the rest, for sure a must for this area. Trailcheck of the 11-05-2021:

Hard climbing segment: EXTREMIST steep and technical singletrack climb !! REALLY only suitable for hard climbers! Throughout about 15% slope in places even up to 25-30%. That's a challenge folks!

I really like the lower part of the Laaber Trail Uphill...it's curvy, a bit technical and towards the end it picks up a bit of incline. I can hardly ride the upper part unless I'm having a really good day, but I can recommend the lower section to anyone looking for a fine uphill challenge! Is also a really good training both technique and speed! video will follow!

I climb up the Laaber Trail with my Enduro (Simplon KURO). At the top of the gravel road, turn left down towards Ruhlandstrasse. After the first left turn, turn right into the forest, and an interesting, straight path leads down. Then turn right to the Laabersteig (Roppersberg Downhill). Climb up this to ride down the Laabersteig on the other side towards Baunzen.
A nice challenge!!!

With an Enduro or the like you do not need to compete unless you are EWS Pro;)! However, the first section is also feasible, who wants to climb the entire trail needs an Xc bike. I'll have to torment myself with my 8.5kg trek. But it is definitely feasible I know some people. Also WITHOUT e-support.

I've ridden the trail twice now and think it's really good for beginners to practice on. The only thing is, a few meters before the Lainzer Tiergarten (Lainz Game Reserve), there's a beech tree lying across the trail, so you have to be careful.
