The church was built at the beginning of the 13th century as a three-aisled column basilica. In the middle of the 15th century, the interior was given a late Gothic painting, which was plastered at the end of the 18th century, uncovered again in 1919 during a renovation and restored between 1991 and 1995 by Hans Burger. the high altar, dating from the 16th century, is made of rosewood. The organ comes from the Sauer company in Frankfurt (Oder) and is from 1929.
