The hut is located at 1857 m between pine trees and flower meadows at the foot of the Pramperet cliffs. It is on the route through the Alps from Munich to Venice.
It was a bit dirty and a bit shabby there, the hut staff were three young people who had fun tearing each other's chest and armpit hair out.
But the minestrone was delicious.
