The Von Bernus Park is a small green area on the edge of Bockenheim, located directly at the Westbahnhof, between the employment office and Schloßstraße. The park was laid out in the style of an English landscape garden at the end of the 18th century at the residence of Princess Henriette Amalie of Anhalt-Dessau (1720-1793). A special feature of a plant of this size is the small pond in the middle of the park, over which a narrow ornamental bridge of rubble leads.

The park was laid out in 1771 for the baroque palace of Princess Henriette Amalie of Anhalt-Dessau, the daughter of the "old Dessau". The castle was destroyed by bombs in 1945, but the park with valuable trees such as Christ's thorn (Gleditsia), bladder tree (Koelreuteria), hickory (Carya) and tulip tree (Liriodendron) remained. In 1952 the city of Frankfurt bought it from von Bernus' possession. Since then it has been open to the public.
