    This is a beautiful pass through the scree at an altitude of 2,368 meters. From here, you overlook the Chamonix and Diosaz valleys. The landscape is mineral and the views spectacular.

        The Brévent is a great panoramic mountain on the glaciated north flank of Mont Blanc. The view of the opposite Aiguilles de Chamonix, from the Aiguille du Midi to the Aiguille des Grands Charmoz, is extraordinary and is enhanced by the huge glaciers that flow down from Mont Blanc. The summit of the Brévent is accessible by a cable car, we climbed it on a hot July day in an easy hike from the middle station of Planpraz.

          At the summit station of of the Brévent, at the cable-car station, there is a refreshment point (Bar) in addition, you can also take advantage of the large terraces for a moment of quiet and contemplation.
          From the summit of the Brévent, there is the steep and long path down to the Aiguillette des Houches, traveling the Tour du Mont Blanc (TMB).
          From Chamonix it is possible to reach the summit of the Brévent by cable-car which takes you up to Plan Praz at 2.000 m, and then a second cable-car up to the Brévent at 2.525 m (and vice versa of course)
