Saint Ursula and her (allegedly 11,000) companions, to whom this church is dedicated, are - alongside the Three Wise Men - probably the most famous saints in Cologne. On the return journey, down the Rhine, in front of Cologne were the Huns under King Attila, who besieged the city. They murdered everyone.
