Memorial located on the promontory above Obernai 5 minutes from the center (by car, 15 minutes on foot). From here you have a view over the city.

In 1956, the National Monument to the Forced Incorporated was built in memory of the 272 dead and disappeared war victims in the city district during World War II.
The viewing area offers a beautiful panorama over Obernai and a view of the Odilienberg.
This is also the starting point of the Schenkenberg wine trail.
