Dreistein Castle is a fort whose. only a few ruins remain today. It is located in the territory of the French commune of Ottrott. The castle is actually a set of three forts built on three juxtaposed rocky peaks, hence the name "drei Stein", which means "three stones" in medieval German.

The Château Dreistein is a historic castle ruin in the Vosges. The castle sits on a rock above the village of Ottrott and offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The Château Dreistein was probably built in the 13th century and originally served as a defensive structure. The castle was destroyed and rebuilt several times over the centuries until it was finally abandoned in the 17th century. Today only ruins remain, including parts of the outer walls, towers and stairs.
