St. Martin Church Bernstrasse 56812 Cochem The late Gothic "Old Choir", which still stands today, was first mentioned in 1593. In 1932/33, a new, large ship was added to this old choir, but it was destroyed by bombing with the church tower on 05.01.1945. In 1950/51, however, this choir was aligned to the north, rebuilt. Equipped is the church with many beautiful old holy figures as well as a Relikienbuste of the holy one. Martin. (Www.belocal.de)

On the site of today's church were already three previous buildings. From the 11th / 15th and 20th centuries. Only the old choir room from the 15th century has survived all the time events. The present church was built after WWII in the early 1960s.
