A beautifully laid out, small zoo. At the entrance you can buy rusks for feeding. In the middle there is a pond with a peacock island where you can go pedal boating. After the visit, the way to the café kleine Kuhstall is not far.

In the midst of the beautiful nature of the Tinnumer meadows is the Tinnum animal park, which houses over 400 native and exotic animals on over 30,000 square meters. Together with a diverse vegetation of flowers and trees, the animal park of the Christiansen family forms a small paradise on Sylt, where you can comfortably switch off from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

A special charm of the zoo comes from its pond with colorful pedal boats. The pedal boats are docked at a small wooden footbridge and can be used by visitors at any time, because pedal boating is already included in the entrance fee.

Native animals such as fallow deer, deer, sheep, donkeys, ponies, storks and guinea pigs are just as impressive as their exotic friends, e.g. B. the flamingos, parrots and alpacas. The colorful world of birds in Tinnum Zoo is also not to be despised: from pigeons, ducks, jesters, oystercatchers, cranes and peacocks to eagle owls and snowy owls, everything that has dense plumage is represented and not only amazes the little visitors.
