The path leads to an allotment area where we meet the Nöthnitzbach. The small stream rises in Bannewitz and flows into the Kaitzbach in Dresden-Mockritz, which is a water feeder for the Carolasee in the Great Garden. We follow the narrow path between the gardens and the Nöthnitzbach. We cross the Babisnauer Straße over a bridge and choose the path south of the Nöthnitzbach, which is bordered by gnarled pastures. Through green meadows we come to the south of a small flood retention basin of the Nöthnitzbach in a wood and under the bridge of the A17 motorway.
