Grochwitz Castle was built in 1732 and is located on the former manor Grochwitz near the former village green. Grochwitz is today a district of the city Herzberg / Elster. The castle is now privately owned and run as a hotel.

The renaissance castle of Count von Bühl is still in good condition. The Herzberg suburb, however, not. He urgently needs an appreciation. Löchrige roads and a few pointers to the castle or zoo, which is just behind the castle. However you are not allowed to bring pets.

The former Grochwitz castle and manor can be found in Grochwitz, a district of Herzberg (Elster). It is located northeast of the former village green. The castle is embedded in a scenic area. There is no longer a "castle lord", but you can book and use the rooms for family celebrations, conferences, weddings, etc. Overnight stays (including bed & bike) are also possible.
