It goes a couple of times over the empty stream bed of the Maubach. This flows underground on this farewell. For everyone who can still remember the water in this section - that came from the drainage of the quarry that was now filled in and from the Maubach sewage treatment plant.

A wonderful trail along the Maubach stream to the Räuberhöhle (Robbers' Cave). The stream bed has dried up in this area. The Maubach stream only resurfaces near the viaduct.
The path is narrow. Trees are lying across it at various points. The stream bed must be crossed at several points, making the trail somewhat difficult to walk.
Sturdy footwear is absolutely helpful. You should also pay close attention. If you follow this advice, you'll have a truly wonderful experience. Enchanted and unspoiled.
