The Duissern Botanical Garden is located at the foot of the Kaiserberg.

The focus is on the Alpine and heath garden, arne and spice plants, as well as a rose area and a natural garden.

The former Duissern Botanical Garden no longer has the status of a "classic" botanical garden. It was dismantled and converted into an elaborately maintained green area.

History: The Duissern Botanical Garden looks back on a long history. It was first mentioned in 1890. In the years 1891/1892 the area was expanded and among other things an alpine garden and a water lily pool were built.

The facility was largely destroyed in the Second World War, and reconstruction took until 1956.

The Botanical Garden on Kaiserberg was laid out in 1890 on an area of 1.95 hectares and redesigned from 1950-1956. Mostly native plants are presented, but some plants come from far away. In the middle of the green is the café, in front of which you can enjoy coffee and cake with a wonderful view of the flora when the weather is nice
