At the entrance to the spa park, where the Ludwig Lesser Promenade begins on the street "Am Kurpark", stands the Steinbach fountain. The Fürstenwalde engineer and civil engineering company owner Julius Steinbach had it built on this spot in 1926, a year before his death. The temporarily vanished fountain was reconstructed in 1999, and since 2007 it has been adorned with a painting by local artist Christa Dittmann.

Julius Steinbach made a name for himself with the construction of the Fürstenwalde - Saarow - Beeskow railway line from 1910 to 1912 with his Fürstenwald civil engineering company.
