They especially brought the cattle trade in Oberkotzau to flower. 1444 "confirmed" Emperor Frederick III. "the owners of place and party Kotzau" the - possibly much earlier lent - market right. Oberkotzau has set a monument to his cattle dealers with the fountain in the market square.
