            The first part of the climb (recommended walking direction) runs over wide paths. Only from about km 5 does it become a real climb with some beautiful views. The descent, on the other hand, is rather unspectacular.

The fascinating panoramic views along the Belchensteig provide a hiking experience in a class of its own. Along the premium hiking trail there are always places to sit and rest with great views.
