The medieval castle complex in the middle of the Innauen is a special excursion destination. The Chancellor's Room, the exhibition and the vaulted cellar bring the history of Frauenstein to life.
Events also take place here. Mostly open until the end of September. In October usually only on weekends.

Great view and simply a cozy beer garden that is always well attended.
Eating and drinking are typical Austrian delicacies.
For the culturally inclined among us, there is a small museum right next to the beer garden that tells the story of Frauenstein.
There are enough bicycle parking spaces.
Attention: no EC payment possible, only cash is real. ;-)

The medieval castle complex, nestled in the Inn river meadows, offered a fascinating sight. Particularly impressive was the preserved gate tower with the adjoining manor house from the early 19th century. Today, it houses the cozy castle tavern: true to the tavern's motto, "Institute for Combating Acute Flooding," it's a great place to take a break.

Another highlight was the multimedia exhibition in the three-story tuff salt storage building. This provided us with a wealth of information about the birdlife of the Lower Inn European Nature Reserve and the history of the river.
