Salto degli Sposi is a legendary panoramic point in the Presolana area, reachable with a short 10-minute walk. This place, made famous by the tragic love story of Maximilian Prihoda and Anna Stareat, offers not only breathtaking views but also an atmosphere full of romance and mystery. The itinerary, suitable for everyone, winds through an enchanted forest, enriched with information panels on local flora and fauna and a rest area to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature. An ideal excursion for families and fans of fascinating stories.

Legend has it that Maximilian Prihoda, a Polish musician, and Anna Stareat, a well-known painter, came to visit relatives near the Presolana Pass and fell in love with these places so much that they decided to live there permanently. They managed to immediately settle in with the locals and used to spend their days at this panoramic point where they found inspiration for their works. One day, for no apparent reason, the two decided to throw themselves, embracing, into the cliff to confirm their love forever and, from that day, this place is called "Salto degli Sposi" to remember this couple loved by everyone.

Salto degli sposi is located at the beginning of a very easy itinerary that leads from the Presolana cantoniera to Colle Vareno. It is an easy agrosilvopastoral road with ups and downs that are not at all tiring, the total difference in height is only 150 m, it is suitable for everyone, the elderly and families with children. The path winds through the woods and is characterized by panels that tell the story of the flora and fauna. Approximately three-quarters of the way there is an equipped rest area from which another itinerary in the woods starts. A beautiful walk to do with the whole family.
