The Groß Schacksdorf Church was probably built in the second half of the 14th century as a late Gothic field stone building. The village church was destroyed in the Thirty Years War and rebuilt between 1719 and 1721. On the south side of the church there is a two-storey patron s lodge from around 1740. Between 1982 and 1989, the building, which is now dilapidated again, was restored.
