In my opinion, the "Vogelsang" suffix is more confusing than helpful, as it suggests the Vogelsang site, far outside of town. But the hostel is indeed located on the outskirts of Gemünd and is therefore relatively central.

Modern, comfortable, close to nature - the new Gemünd Vogelsang youth hostel. At the popular location of the old Schleiden-Gemünd Youth Hostel, a learning and event location opened in spring 2020 that sets completely new standards.
Embedded in a forest and water-rich valley, in the Eifel National Park, the building with its imposing wooden facade and large transparent windows fits perfectly into the surrounding nature. The youth hostel is one of the certified national park hosts and is therefore the ideal base station for numerous outdoor activities.
