Koldenbüttel, a picturesque community in the district of Nordfriesland in Schleswig-Holstein, is located on the Eider and Treene rivers, about 8 miles south of Husum and west of Friedrichstadt. The community is known for its idyllic scenery and historical sights.

A prominent feature of Koldenbüttel is the St. Leonhard Church, which was built around the year 1200 by Frisian immigrants. The church's freestanding bell tower is the oldest of its kind in Schleswig-Holstein and dates from 1461. The old rectory, which was built in 1658, is also a significant historical building.

The area surrounding Koldenbüttel offers many opportunities for nature lovers. The Koldenbüttler Marsch is a popular hiking area with well-developed trails that lead through the marsh landscape and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding nature.

Another highlight is the Eider Bridge, which connects Koldenbüttel with the surrounding villages and offers a picturesque view of the Eider. The historic towns of Friedrichstadt and St. Anna Church are also nearby.
