Medieval Montcada and L'Ermita de Reixac, from the 11th century Romanesque. The hermitage of San Pedro de Reixac is a historical symbol of the
municipality and one of the oldest and best elements
preserved local cultural heritage.
The temple has two parallel naves oriented from east to

Medieval settlement of Reixac On the Valent hill,

It was built during the 10th century by the peasants who lived
the interior valleys of the Sierra de Marina. The hermitage of
Reixac was consecrated in 1048, although it already appeared
documented in 976. The town and the old parish of San
Pere de Reixac, documented in the 10th century (963), belonged to the
monasteries of San Jerónimo de la Murtra and Sant Cugat del
Vallès until the 18th century.
In 1652, during the Reapers' War, the thirds of the
Count-Duke of Olivares burned the church. the restorations
