    A nice, well-kept small train station with a train station restaurant and boarding house as well as a timetable in the station building, a nice arrival and council area.
    From this station square you can easily get in all directions, e.g. to the weir, castle, Harras rock, viaduct, etc. 😉

            The Braunsdorf-Lichtenwalde stop/station
            was opened on March 1, 1869.

            It had the following names:

            until 1919: Braunsdorf,
            until 1934: Braunsdorf (Zschopautal),
            since 1934: Braunsdorf-Lichtenwalde.

            On the opposite bank of the
            Zschopau River is Lichtenwalde Castle. Shortly before, the
            train passes the Harrasfelsen Tunnel, and shortly after the station, the Zschopau River and the
            Braunsdorf Viaduct.
