    The section of the Zschopautalweg is part of the Frankenberg hiking trail network and is marked in red. The tour leads along the Zschopau through a medieval mining area. The entire Zschopautalweg starts at the Zschopau source on the Fichtelberg and goes to the confluence with the Freiberger Mulde.
