In June 2024 I was up there again, but the climb is made difficult by thorns and heavy vegetation and a pair of garden shears would be useful. Unfortunately, the view is now limited at the mill, as the eastern view over Braunschweig is somewhat obscured by the vegetation. The view over the western part of the city and Brocken is still clear.
