Far back on Günthersbühler Straße, at the stone bridge in an easterly direction, you can see a part of the former Ringbahn route that has grown over and is covered with leaves. In the other direction you can see a sun-drenched corridor where the first work on the “Bahn 2.0 lifeline” project is already underway.

… follow the historic Ringbahn from the junction to the Bayerische Staatsbahn between Erlenstegen and Behringersdorf to Nordostbahnhof. It is surprising to see how much of the historic infrastructure is to be seen yet, in particular huge bridges in the middle of the woods!
