In 1637 there was a simple wooden cross in place of today's church. In gratitude for averting the plague, the Poysdorf community built a chapel between 1655 and 1657. The Weinviertel Way of St. James passes here.

The reason of today's visit was a nice one, on the 26th of August 2017 my boss gets married!

With great weather and filled church - about 200 relatives and friends it was a successful party - a wedding to the bride and groom.

The pilgrimage church Maria Bründl is a Roman Catholic church in Wilhelmsdorf in the Lower Austrian community Poysdorf. It is located southwest outside the village, on the road to Staatz, in the middle of a grove on Poysbach. The late Baroque building has a cross-shaped layout and a tower facade. As a branch of the parish Poysdorf she belongs to the Archdiocese of Vienna.
