Unfortunately, the spot is marked incorrectly, as the view of the Großvenediger is a little further in the Gschlößtal. From here you only have a view of the alpine settlement Aussergschlöß. You still have to step out of the forest and then you can see the Großvenediger with the Schlattenkees.

The Großvenediger, the "Weltalte Majestät", sits enthroned with the Schlatenkees in front of the valley. The ascent takes 3-4 hours from the Neue Prager Hütte to the summit. The ascent is a high alpine venture and only reserved for experienced mountaineers. A mountain guide is definitely recommended for other aspirants.
