Very beautiful historic alpine inn at the entrance to the Hohe Tauern National Park. The landlords are hospitable and serve good regional cuisine. In winter, the Tauernhaus is also a good starting point for ski tours, snowshoe tours, skiing, tobogganing and cross-country skiing. Also very easy to reach in terms of transport via the Felbertauernstraße.
