This small park is perfect for sports. It features a basketball court, a fenced-in soccer field, and a nice playground for children. A large lawn and public barbecue areas also invite you to chill out.

The shrub and tree areas that had grown wild, especially in the peripheral areas, were treated with particular care during the renovation and preserved as forest space.

The path system was designed to create the most direct routes possible to reach the city center. This created an interesting, diverse park that residents use for local recreation.

The large meadow area is particularly suitable for picnics or, in windy weather, for kite flying.

Scattered throughout the park are several "found objects" that recall its former industrial use. The "half-shells" are so-called dished ends, which were components of pressure vessels.

In 2006/2007, the park was expanded again and now covers an area of approximately 13 hectares.
