Medieval hustle and bustle always takes place here. The “bird birds” set up their tents at the Heimathaus once a year. For three days there is a hustle and bustle with a market, army camp and evening spectacle.

The former Rode Castle has long since been torn down, but a few remains are on display. The former course of the fortress walls is indicated by the type of hedge planting. It's just a shame that the original thatched roofing of the home house built here didn't withstand the fire devils, so that the tiled roof has to do it now. Still a nice complex with a pharmacy garden, some nice agricultural outbuildings. It is worth looking up details on Wikipedia:
