The Glaner Braut is an archaeological site near Dötlingen in the Wildeshausen district. The four tombs are made of large stones and were created between 3,500 and 2,800 BC. They give an insight into the culture, customs and ideology of Neolithic society.

The Glaner Braut is a collection of four megalithic tombs on a sandy, heather-covered hillock on the left bank of the Hunte River near Dötlingen.

The charming path from Dötlingen to the tombs runs through the Hunte lowlands.

Their location and monumentality make them visible from afar.

The suffix "Braut" (Bride) is not recorded in its origins.

With a length of 50 m and a width of 6 to 8 m, Grave I is the largest of the group of four. The enclosure consists of a rectangular megalithic bed.

The enclosure stones are almost completely preserved. However, the chamber located in the western part of the tomb has significant missing parts. Not a single capstone
and only a few supporting stones can be identified.

Grave II, located at right angles to Grave I and only a few meters away,

has the same type of rectangular megalithic bed with a small chamber.
Its dimensions are somewhat more modest, at 30 m long. The chamber's supporting stones are complete; however, all but one of the capstones is missing.

Grave III, located somewhat further away, appears smaller than its neighbors at first glance due to the lack of a enclosure. Its chamber measures 6 x 2 m and is better preserved than Graves I and II. Three of the four capstones are still present.

Grave IV has not been included in the Route of Megalithic Culture due to its very poor state of preservation.
