THE VINETA ON THE STÖRMTHALER LAKE

The VINETA symbolizes the lost Magdeborn Church and is a memorial for the places that had to give way to the Espenhain open-cast coal mine. This resulted in today's Störmthaler See and Markkleeberger See.
In the steadily growing Leipzig New Lakeland, the Krystallpalast Varieté Leipzig has been heading to new shores since June 2011 and operates VINETA on Lake Störmthaler - the extraordinary floating event location in the south of Leipzig.
With an eaves height of 15 meters, VINETA is currently the tallest floating structure on a German lake.
In its historical and aesthetic uniqueness, the 'floating church' is a very special venue for weddings, cultural events and exclusive events.
In the VINETA bistro, food, drinks and ice cream are offered on a large, sheltered patio.
