"Police servants and people leaving in Selzen". The sculpture is located in the center of the village on the corner of Gaustraße (L425) and Kaiserstraße (map). The community servants often performed security duties, but also such community services as walking around the village, luring people out of their houses with the bell and then spreading news and announcements. A plaque is set in the floor at his feet, on it are the dates and the names of the Selzer members from 1823 to 1987.
