Viaduct of the former railway lines between Buchholz i. d. Nordheide and Bremervörde. This bridge is located in the disused stretch of road (1968) Buchholz -Hollenstedt (about 1Km before Hollenstedt).
There are two more viaducts on the A1 motorway and on the Este, in Hollenstedt. Also called "Este Viaduct".
The viaduct of the former railway line of Buchholz i. d. Nordheide to Bremervörde. This bridge is located in the disused section (1968) between Buchholz (Nordheide) -Hollenstedt.
The entire route between Buchholz (i.d.Nordheide) and Bremervörde was opened in 1902 for freight but also for passenger traffic. The passenger traffic between Hesedorf and Buchholz was discontinued in 1968, the freight traffic only between Hollenstedt and Buchholz, because a new bridge over the newly electrified Hamburg-Bremen (near Buchholz) would have to be built and 1 million DM was the train for doing so.
This section used to belong to the route Geestemünde - Bremervörde - Buchholz - Lüneburg - Wittenberge - Berlin. This made it possible to bypass Hamburg because the Prussian military was said to have had its problems passing through Hamburg.
