    Due to its design and furnishings, the parish church of St. Martin, as a late Gothic hall church, is one of the most important sacred buildings on the Moselle. The tower crowned with the most decorated Gothic slate helmet enjoys special appreciation.

      Saint Martin, to whom Ediger Church is dedicated, is probably one of the most popular saints of all, along with Saint Nicholas. The memorial day of the former officer in the Roman army is on November 11th. He then converted to Christianity and was later elected bishop of Tours (France), initially against his will.
