This path was opened to the public on November 5th, 1999 - while still alive - by Aschaffenburg District Administrator, Mr. Roland Eller, at the hiking home in Waldaschaff. It starts at the train station in Laufach (also marked with the start and finish in the center of Laufach) via Waldaschaff, the Hohe Warte, Neuhammer, Geishöhe with the Ludwig-Keller-Turm of the Spessartbund to the train station in Fechenbach and is approx. 38 km long. On this delightful tour, you have to master 1260 m ascent and descent. These altitude meters require a certain level of fitness from the hiker.
